Our systems run in your home, not on someone else's server somewhere in the cloud, so neither an internet outage nor a manufacturer shutting down is something to worry about.

Smart home questions, answered
What happens in the free consultation?
We get to know your needs: how you live, what bothers you now, and what you'd like. You don't need to bring a device list or decide anything in advance. This is where the design work starts.
Do walls need to be opened up?
Generally not. In a new build or renovation the cabling fits into the work. In an existing home, wireless devices often make it possible without opening anything up.
Can I install a smart home in a rented apartment?
Yes. If you rent, we work within what your tenancy allows — there are non-invasive, wireless options that leave no permanent trace and can come with you when you move out.
What happens if the internet goes down?
Nothing special. The system runs in your home, so its functions and automations work without internet. Only remote access pauses until the connection is restored.
And during a power outage?
The most important parts can be protected with uninterruptible power. Exactly what stays running — the controller, the gate, the cameras — is agreed during the assessment.
Can my existing devices be integrated?
In most cases, yes. We connect alarms, cameras, air conditioning and other smart devices. During the assessment we check what can be reused and base our recommendation on that.
Can it be extended later?
Yes. We work with open standards, so you can add devices later, even from other manufacturers.
Where are camera recordings and system data stored?
By default locally, on file storage inside your own network rather than in an external cloud. That way the recordings and the system logs stay with you and don't depend on a provider's subscription. If remote access is needed, we plan that separately and deliberately.
How long does it take?
It depends on the size of your home and the scope of work. After the assessment we give you an exact schedule.
How much does a smart home system cost?
Since every solution is custom-built, there is no fixed price list: the cost is always determined after the assessment, for your specific system. What drives it most is the size of the property, the condition of the existing devices, and how many areas are involved — you'll see it itemised once the assessment is done.
Is a smart home worth it?
It's worth it when it solves something specific: less manual switching, a lower heating bill, or knowing what's happening at home while you're away. The return is most visible with heating and shading control; elsewhere the main benefit is everyday convenience. During the assessment we go through what would make a real difference for you.
